Best of Bride Party 2010 -- icing on the cake (or cupcake, that is!)

Last night we celebrated the eighth annual Seattle Bride Best of Bride awards, and the release of our Fall/Winter Best of 2010 issue, with 275 wedding vendors at the Georgetown Ballroom. The issue hits stands July 8, but here's a sneak peek of our fabulous cover (with gown designed exclusively for Seattle Bride by Luly Yang Couture, flowers by Willow & Bloom and photography by Marc Von Borstel).

Our annual party is the perfect way to say thanks to all of the amazing wedding vendors that call Seattle home, and work tirelessly to put on gorgeous weddings and events all year round. A special thank you to the fabulous vendors that helped make last night's event such a success: The Georgetown Ballroom, of course, for playing perfect host; Aria Style (winner this year for Best Florist!) for their whimsical flower arrangements, mixing pinks, whites and hydrangea blues for a summery edge; party music by Austin Beaver (also a Best of Bride winner for Best DJ for Reception!) that had everyone dancing well into the night; hors d’oeuvres and drinks -- including a pear martini, chilled over an ice sculpture by Creative Ice -- by Herban Feast Catering; The Pike Brewing Company for some delicious brews; Butler Valet for their fantastic service (and winners of Best Valet Service for 2010!); and Trophy Cupcakes & Party for their darling pink- and brown-themed mini cupcake bar, a huge hit with guests, who were more than happy to try three or four of the little delights.

Also, thanks to Michael Bride and Nona Smith, who did our editor Sally's makeup and hair for the event, and Final Take Productions, who videographed and edited a "Behind the Scenes" video of one our fashion shoots, which we premiered last night.
