Herban Feast Satisfies eyes and mouths at Sodo Park
Blogs
Herban Feast's Fall/Winter Tasting Party left guests full and happy last night with mouthwatering cuisine and gorgeous surroundings.
The flavors of fall were ever-present in every dish, but our personal favorites were the shiitake mushroom and thyme gnocchi, the salmon skewers with huckleberry coulis and the pulled pork rangoon... all washed down with a signature cocktail, the Herban Huckleberry Lemon Thyme Martini.
And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we found the dessert table by Frost Doughnuts. Salted Caramel, Aztec Chocolate and Southern Red Velvet rounded out our favorite flavors.
Are you drooling yet? Herban Feast specializes in serving fresh ingredients for every season, and just might be a delicious addition to your big day.
If you're looking for an event planner to make your wedding spectacular, True Colors Events is sure to impress. They pulled off last night's party with flying -- and beautiful -- colors.
Brides-to-be, vendors and curious guests alike mingled through the rustic space, admiring the high ceilings and exposed wooden beams of the Sodo Park Event Space. The venue can accommodate between 300-500 people -- like it did last night -- or it can be magically rearranged for a more intimate group.
Speaking of magic, last night's featured entertainment was Seattle magician Nash Fung. He wowed us with sneaky card tricks and a flaming wallet.
Bamboo Beats filled the room with the perfect tunes as Phototainment put a fun spin on the traditional photo booth with a picture slideshow and key-chain souvenirs.
The Tasting Party gave us a peek at what local fall and winter weddings will have in store and we couldn't be more thrilled to see what Seattle brides come up with in the coming seasons!
