Recap: Creative ideas (and gorgeous venue set-ups) from Weddings in Woodinville

Good morning! Yesterday, Michelle DeRouen and I spent a delightful afternoon in Washington wine country, touring five premier wedding venues at the Weddings in Woodinville festival. I got married in Oregon wine country, so admittedly I have a soft spot for the simple elegance of a winery wedding, but I was blown away by how differently each venue was styled, from stunning winter white to brightly-hued pinks, yellows and teals. I’m going to let the photos do most of the talking (snapped on my phone, so know everything was even more beautiful in person):

 First stop: Novelty-Hill/Januik Winery

After starting the tour at Woodhouse Wine Estates, we hopped over to Novelty. I’m just going to come out and say it: This happy pink, yellow and blue palette punched up the modern concrete aesthetic in such a fun, unexpected way and was my favorite of the day. Kudos to Simply Wed on their awesome styling (see above as well):

Second stop: DeLille Cellars

Event Success and Aria Style combined midnight blue and vivid red at the intimate, elegant DeLille (plus, my favorite groom of the day!):

And on to number three: Willows Lodge

Taylor’d Events and Elements in Bloom worked with the natural, lodge aesthetic at Willows to create their décor, using succulents (my current floral obsession), birch bark and glass candelabras from Candeo Flower:

Stop four: Columbia Winery

Winter white covered the Columbia space, I particularly love Aisle of View’s intimate couch seating at the ceremony site!

Lucky number five: JM Cellars

Nestled up on the hillside, JM felt warmly inviting and intimate. Outside of great bites by Tom Douglas and Veraci, MG Davis Events and and team gets my 'creativity award' for the day for florals, which upon first glance looked like white roses, but instead were made from balsa wood- tres chic:

Last stop: Russell’s

Who knew there was a hidden gem tucked into Bothell? The loft in the big white barn was incredibly dramatic. Styled by Every Last Detail, candlelight and silver trees accented the awesome high-beamed ceiling:
