Upcoming WE tv's Wedding Mall Tour stops at Alderwood Mall

Don't miss WE tv's Wedding Mall tour's Northwest stop next Saturday, August 21 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Alderwood Mall's Center Court in Lynnwood. You'll walk away with some great design tips and inspiration from Diann Valentine -- world-renowned event stylist to the stars and WE tv wedding expert -- and maybe even a prize or two. The event starts with a mocktail hour, sponsored by SoBe, followed by a meet- and greet-the-expert session, where you'll get tips from Valentine as she demonstrates combining items purchased from select mall retailers and sponsors -- including Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, White House Black Market, Kodak and SoBe -- to create that one-of-a-kind wedding look.

Local florist Laurel Mitchell of Laurel's Floral Decor (check out her gorgeous creations in "Petal Power," featured in the current issue of Seattle Bride) will also be there designing the mock wedding stage. Inspired by a moonlight garden glam theme, Mitchell's combining white and pale pink orchids and other butterfly-inspired flowers with dripping gems for added glitz.

The event's free, but get there early: The first 150 attendees receive a gift bag, and all attendees have the chance to win some great prizes, including gift cards to Nina Shoes, Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma, a KitchenAid mixer and a luggage set from Titan Luggage.
