What's your wedding planning style?

Getting engaged is easy, getting married is easy, planning a wedding… not so much. Unless you work as an event planner, chances are that planning your wedding is going to be your biggest project so far.

Luckily, we’ve found a great jumping off point for you: A fast, fun quiz that helps identify your psychological planning profile. Created by Susan Southerland, a wedding superstar (she’s been featured on Whose Wedding is it Anyway? and A Wedding Story).

“Knowing someone’s unique qualities, how they work and their design sensibilities is key to the wedding planning process,” says Southerland. Taking the quiz helps you determine your strengths, weaknesses, and areas you may need help on.

The questions are all-inclusive, ranging from your party planning interests, to shopping and decorating habits. I decided to take the test myself, answering all twelve questions as I would have when I planned my own wedding. The results? I’m a “Visionary Bride,” meaning my strength is in creativity and design, while my weakness is in logistical planning and budget.
