E.E. Robbins’ New Owner is Keeping it in the Family
Wednesday, May 29 2013
Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store has recently announced its acquisition of all local E.E. Robbins locations. It will come as no surprise, that even though the companies were previously owned and operated separately, they share a familial history. Although Robbins Brothers is currently based out of Southern California, the Robbins family actually began their adventure in the jewelry business in our city of Seattle back in the 1920s. The family eventually moved to California in the 1950s where they continued their involvement in the jewelry industry. Robbins Brothers was officially established in the mid-1990s by Emerson Robbins and his brother. Emerson Robbins, known locally as E.E. Robbins, opened his own independent stores in Seattle several years later. Bringing the family’s pioneering history in the world of engagement rings full circle, E.E. Robbins will now be owned and operated by Robbins Brothers.
