Inside the Issue: A Few of our Favorite Things
Blogs
Every year around the holidays I remember what a horrible secret keeper I am, so excited about presents and the surprises that I feel as if I might burst (my poor little sister always knew her presents ahead of time, because “someone told her or something, maybe, I guess,” as I explained to my mother). However, this pent-up-almost-filled-to-the-brim feeling is nothing compared with the feeling I have about wanting to share each new issue of Seattle Bride. We see the final product in all its glory about six weeks before you do, and it is tortuous not talking about it, asking you what you think, what you love, even what you hate.
But, thankfully, the wait is over: The Spring/Summer issue is on the newsstands. Pick up your copy today, but here are a few of our favorite shots to tide you over until you can get to the grocery store:
Brilliant ideas from real Seattle weddings: “Tattooed” apple place cards, watercolor invitations designed (and painted) by the bride and groom and woodsy log place card holders.

Try one of these delicious new cake flavors using Northwest ingredients (why hello, spiced fig cake).
Green scheme: We’re obsessed with monochromatic bouquets and décor palettes.
The perfect beach style: We’re also in love with this taffeta confection from Luly Yang Couture.
Paper parade: Creative paper décor takes center stage.

And finally, a tulle ballerina gown from A Princess Bride paired with electric blue accessories will grace our first cover (look for it on stands next week!).

The bouquet is just stunning!
The bouquet is just stunning! Love the log card holder, too... If I was a bride now, I'd go with a woodland theme!
