Map to Same Sex Marriage-Friendly Venues

[Map courtesy of Crosscut]
Thanks to our friends over at Crosscut, here's a handy map highlighting all the gay marriage-friendly places in the area. If you're in that number and not on the list, Crosscut is urging you to get in touch with them to be added.
We're also working on highlighting great packages that come across our desk, like this one from the Edgewater as well as the I Do for Two package from Willows Lodge in Woodinville, which includes an overnight stay, the wedding site, two witnesses (if needed), immediate access to an officiant, a rose petal drawn bath, a bottle of champagne, breakfast in bed for two and a commemorative Willow’s Lodge frame, starting at $320.
The MV Skansonia and The Lake Union Cafe & Bakery are both opening their doors on December 9, with a very special event in support and celebration of same-sex marriage. Reverend Ray VanWinkle, Reverend Bill Wood, Music Man Inc., A Beautiful Day Photography, Photo Elan, Wine World, Floressence, Jenny GG Photography and Celeste Cooning are helping to host a unique and fully complimentary group ceremony and reception. Couples interested in sharing and celebrating their special day aboard The MV Skansonia on December 9, should register and book their spot ASAP with Shauna Wu at info@skansonia.com or call 206.545.9109. Couples interested in sharing and celebrating their special day at The Lake Union Cafe should register and book their spot ASAP with Victoria Haberman at lucforu@aol.com or call 206.568.1258.
