Urban Unveiled: Our Recap (It Was Amazing)
Last Thursday, October 11 was At First Blush, the seventh annual Urban Unveiled at Benaroya Hall. And what a night it was. True Colors Events designed the event to reflect a romantic scene, complemented by warm rosy and cream tones, soft, sophisticated flowers, vintage-inspired décor and charming, twinkling lights. Local vendors Rented Elegance, PNTA, Choice Linens and Pedersen's made their vision come to life.
50 handpicked wedding professionals, from makeup artists to bakers, stationers to caterers, DJ’s to event venues showed off their amazing talents and brilliant ideas to bride and grooms as they consider their Big Day. The beauty of Urban Unveiled is not only that participating vendors are hand-picked by wedding industry insiders, its intimate setting allows for thoughtful conversations and meaningful connections between them and the couples seeking information on planning a wedding. Many beautiful partnerships were sparked on this special night.
After a rousing raffle, designer Luly Yang ended the evening with a gorgeous runway show, debuting exquisite gowns from her 2013 Bridal collection, inspired by the night’s theme, At First Blush. This season, as always, Luly’s ultra feminine silhouettes blended innovative draping and design along with understated glamour. Pastels and lightweight textures, as well as dashes of unexpected color elicited ooh’s and aah’s from brides, whose faces shone with anticipation of their big day.
Thank you to the entire team of amazingly talented people who brought this event to fruition. What an incredible night. Here’s to next year!
