Wedding Preview Event & Urban Unveiled

Summer is a divine time to get engaged. The sun is out, flowers are in bloom, and love is in the air. The long, warm nights (well, as warm as Seattle nights can be), the romantic late-night bonfires on the beach… Okay, you get the picture. So, for all of you newly engaged (or not so newly engaged) out there, a couple of not-to-miss wedding events are just around the corner to get your wedding planning off on the right foot.

This Sunday, October 2nd, the Wedding Preview Event will be held in all its glory at the Seattle Design Center in Georgetown at 4pm.  This annual boutique wedding planning event is a self-titled “alternative approach to planning your wedding” and hosted by Seattle Bride mag’s Best of 2011 winner for Day-of Wedding Coordinator, The Invisible Hostess. These bubbly Westlake-based gals give Jennifer Lopez a run for her money, with a flair for coordinating pre-day and day-of details. See their skills unfold at this theatrical wedding event where you have the chance to watch three full-scale mock weddings, as vendors do what they do best, from the invitations to the favors. Chat it up with vendors afterward to get a sense of who they are, what they do, and how they might play a role in your big day. A $15 ticket (sold here) gets you into the event, as well as appetizers, dinner, drinks, desserts, and a night full of wedding entertainment.
