After a long, grey winter, spring is right around the corner! One of our favorite things about spring is the florals that bloom and colors that they bring. Did you know that each flower color has a different meaning? Today, we’re rounding up our favorite, colorful spring florals and breaking down what each color represents. Knowing what each color represents adds extra meaning to your special day and is a fun way of incorporating a bold color into your florals!

White: White is a symbol of goodness, spirituality, purity, godliness, and sacredness and symbolizes innocence and purity.

Pink: Pink flowers are traditionally associated with love. Pink also represents happiness and gentleness and adds a feminine touch to any bouquet. Not to mention that pink has various hues and you can find the perfect shade for you.

Purple: Purple flowers are said to symbolize success, royalty, and feelings of admiration. Mixing them with brighter colored flowers, such as white or yellow, creates the perfect balance and pop of color in your bouquet.

Blue: The color of the sky and the sea, blue is associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, and heaven. Blue is also associated with tranquility and kindness.

Green: As the color of nature, green symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. For contrast, mix in pink or white with the greenery for a fresh, classic look.

Yellow: Known as the color of sunshine, yellow is associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. This pop of color is used to evoke pleasant and cheerful feelings.

Orange: Want to combine the energy of red and the happiness of yellow? Orange is associated with joy and enthusiasm and represents creativity, determination and encouragement.

Red: A  go-to, red is commonly associated with feelings of love and romance. However, it can also be used to convey respect, desire, and courage. A pop of red against a white dress is timeless and classic!
