1. TWINKLE, TWINKLE

Go big and then go home with a good-bye token that sparkles as much as the two of you. Portland- and Seattle-based Bridal Bliss provides these cute, customizable bags packed with sequins and adorned with threaded tags, available in a variety of colors to complement your wedding decor. Bask in the twinkly, glitzy sprinkles as you dash to your getaway car. $4/bag.

2. MAKING WAVES

Planner Merry Beth Turpin of Issaquah-based Aisle of View recommends guests cheer on the newlyweds by waving whimsical, handmade ribbon wands as they exit. Choose satin streamers in your favorite hues and then top each birchwood wand with a gold or silver bell for added merriment. $105/100 assembled wands from The Divinity Braid.

3. GOING GREEN

Fit for the gourmand bride and groom who are also environmentally conscientious, these fragrant herb toss handouts crafted by Rebecca Grant of Snohomish-based New Creations Weddings provide a natural and aromatic adieu to the wedding day. Each handcrafted cone is made of decorative paper sourced from Ben Franklin Crafts and filled with herbs such as fresh mint and sage. $1.30/cone or $30/group of 25.

4. BUNDLE OF LAUGHS

Pull out all the stops with Columbia City–based Jubilee Event Engineers’ bag of goodies. Sourced from discount party retailers and Seattle’s famed novelty shop Archie McPhee, each kit is a hoot. Complete with sparklers, bow ties, Groucho Marx glasses, feather boas, tiaras and noisemakers, this send-off will have guests laughing until they cry the good kind of tears. Starts at $8/bag.

5. STRING TOGETHER

Made from scrapbook paper wrapped around cans of silly string purchased at Display and Costume, these goofy-glam creations from Capitol Hill–based The Invisible Hostess are sure to create a hilarious photo op. (Lead planner Sheena Kalso recommends launching the vibrantly colored string into the air so you don’t blast the couple too much during the grand getaway.) $6/can.
