How would you describe what you do? We like to take our client’s dreams and turn them into reality. From the initial consultation, to selection of the vendors, to proofing all contracts, to all of the phone calls to coordinate all of the details, to running the rehearsal and being the “first one there, last one to leave” the day of the wedding! How long have you been in the business? 24 years. What is your philosophy on a wedding planners role in helping brides and grooms plan their wedding? Our role is to LISTEN and execute the dreams of our clients. We are here to guide and advise and keep you on track, help with etiquette, meet all deadlines, proof all contracts, make sure deposits and balances are all paid on time, hire the perfect vendor for the event, and then make it all happen! Do you offer packages? If so, please describe. I don’t offer packages – I charge by the hour so it’s a “pay as you go” situation. What is your most popular package? Why? Most clients hire me for full-service planning. As soon as they get a ring on their finger, we get started. It’s fun to help make the entire event cohesive instead of just doing bits and pieces. Are you able to counsel couples on wedding etiquette? Yes, we help with etiquette all the time, but in the end, we still want it to be what the client wants (which isn’t always the Emily Post way!) Do you offer any other special services? We also sell Save the Dates, Invitations, Bridal Party gifts, party favors, etc. Is there anything else you would like me to know? We do offer a complimentary consultation where we can go through our questionnaire, look at lots of pictures, interview each other to see if we are good fits, etc. |
