Alexandra Ostrovsky is a MAC-Certified artist with a degree in Fine Arts & Photography. She received her training in New York City where she represented many of the finest makeup lines & stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel & Barneys. Her work has appeared in Elle Magazine for New York Fashion Week. Her makeup applications are noted for the unique style, elegance and technique.

What types of services do you offer brides/ bridal parties?
I offer “personalized” makeup services at competitive prices. Helping the bride to look her very best, while feeling comfortable & confident is the goal. This is why meeting the bride in advance & having an initial consultation is essential.
Do you travel on-site to do hair and/or make-up? If so, what are the fees for this?
Absolutely! I do all makeup on-site and I work with a hair stylist if needed. I typically charge only a nominal travel fee ($20 per hr) from downtown Seattle to the event which may be waived depending on location.
Can you accommodate a whole wedding party the day of the wedding for up-do's and/or make-up?
Yes. If necessary I will bring an assistant makeup artist(s) and a hair stylist. I have handled very large as well as relatively small wedding parties, photo shoots and fashion shows. My work tends to be perfectionistic but I am attentive to time-management.
Which of your services are most popular with brides?
Brides appreciate that my focus is entirely on them and on their “special” look. I like to teach and to provide my clients with makeup and skincare tips that they can master themselves.
How long before the wedding do you suggest booking your services?
Obviously ASAP. But the first step is to book a makeup trial/consultation. This is where the bride and I get to know each other to determine the exact look that she wants on her wedding day.
Is there anything else you would like me to know?
I always try to work within budget and I am positively passionate about helping brides look their best on their wedding day and in their wedding photographs.
