From the delicate lace adorning Elizabeth Itkin’s gown to Loka Kanongataa’s custom-made socks, the couple’s luxurious wedding was filled with intricate details and meaningful moments. The groom’s heartwarming and tearful reaction to seeing his bride for the first time moved everyone who witnessed it.

Liz and Loka’s supremely swanky black-tie wedding took place in the Seattle Symphony’s Benaroya Hall. They were married on the stage surrounded by a host of attendants under a beautiful, flower-bedecked chuppah. After the ceremony, the party moved into the elegant reception space, which was filled with white and blush flowers in tall vases, sparkling crystal and glowing candles. A live band got the party started, and the groom’s family surprised everyone with a Polynesian dance performance. A confetti drop during the hora captured the joyful essence of the evening. Together, the wedding and reception added up to the perfect fusion of the bride’s Russian-Jewish ancestry and the groom’s Polynesian heritage.
