How long has this company been established for? How long have you been working with brides?
Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company was founded by jewelers in 1913 to insure jewelers and jewelry stores. In 1953, we began to offer our Personal Jewelry policy- to individuals who want insure their personal jewelry items. We are the only insurer in the United States and Canada that specialize exclusively in jewelry insurance. Today we insure over $3 billion of personal jewelry.
What do you provide your customers with? Are there special packages? Do you need to be approved?
Jewelers Mutual provides the most comprehensive jewelry insurance policy for the jewelry buying public. Many homeowners or renters policies simply don’t provide the coverage that jewelry owners expect. Jewelers Mutual protects you against: accidental loss, damage, theft and mysterious disappearance, world-wide.
We also make sure any replacement you receive is the SAME kind and quality- not LIKE kind and quality. If you lost a Tiffany™ platinum ring- you’ll get one in return. We also ensure you work with the jeweler of your choice to repair/replace your piece (many insurance companies don’t allow this).
Jewelers Mutual’s customer service representatives are well-versed in both insurance AND jewelry. Many are certified gemologists and have extensive jewelry knowledge. This ultimately helps the customer.
Where is the location of your office? What is the best way for a potential customer to get in touch with you?
We are headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin.

What will appeal about your company to a newly wed couple? Is there anything else you would like to add?
Although it’s likely the first ‘expensive’ piece of jewelry a newly engaged couples has owned, many have not taken steps to protect their ring. Others have assumed their prized piece is automatically protected under their homeowners or renters and find it isn’t. Even more have discovered that come time for a claim- they are underinsured, may not be able to work with their jeweler to replace , and may not even get the same quality of piece in return.
