Old, New, Borrowed and Blue
Staying true to the tradition, bride Caitlin Brannon wore her grandmother’s mink coat as her something old and something borrowed for pre-wedding photos taken in industrial SoDo. Her dramatic V-neck ballgown and sweeping lace-trimmed veil served as her something new. And her something blue? Manolo Blahniks (à la Carrie Bradshaw, of course).

Floral Frame
The couple wanted a wedding whose look was simple and modern while evoking a sense of timeless elegance. The team at Designs by Courtney created a moody yet graceful setting at The Foundry in SoDo. The setting’s focal point was an elaborate floral arch, which served as the background for both the ceremony and the cake-cutting festivities that followed. “Our florist went beyond my expectations in filling the venue,” says Caitlin. Glass elements, including hurricane candle vases for emitting a romantic glow, kept things classic, while chandeliers and white drapery added elegance to the decor.
