Seattle's own Elysian Brewing has teamed up with 'Queer Eye' star Jonathan Van Ness in celebration of Pride Month this June. Elysian and Seattle Pride held a contest for one lucky couple to win a wedding officiated by JVN himself at Elysian's newly renovated pub in Capitol Hill. "I’m so excited to team up with Elysian Brewing during Seattle Pride to share the message that all people should be free and proud to express themselves as they are. I can’t wait for June!" says Van Ness.

Lucky winners Megan and Haden, both Washingtonians themselves, will be wed June 4th. "It will be such a breath of fresh air to have a day that's openly in celebration of this amazing life we've created together," note the couple. "To have JVN witness and seal our union is such an incredible moment for us - Jonathan has personally emboldened both of us to live our truths in a much bigger way, and we can't believe we will be able to meet him. We have been ready to seal the deal for quite some time, and we could not think of a better way to do it than to celebrate marriage equality and all love with JVN."

Elysian will be bringing back their special Pride Ale this year, and a portion of all proceeds will benefit Seattle Pride for the second year in a row. “Everyone is deserving of love and equal opportunities and we're honored to host Megan and Haden's wedding at our Capitol Hill pub,” says Joe Bisacca, Co-Founder of Elysian.

The affair will be one for the books. “We’re thrilled to celebrate Seattle Pride and marriage equality alongside the lucky couple on one of the most important days of their lives in partnership with Elysian Brewing. We can’t wait to be there to celebrate their special day!” says Kevin Tooney, President of Seattle Pride.
