Bohemian Summer Wedding

Sarah and Rory say "I do" at Maroni Meadows in Snohomish

If you're one of those who feels summer should begin the moment the holidays are over, this wedding is for you. While we can't hurry along the warmer weather, we can spend our days dreaming about it. This boho-chic wedding at Maroni Meadows, sent over to us by Solie Designs (who did the photography, floral arrangements and planning!), embodies all that is late summer. Soft golden light, beautiful blooms and a relaxed but elegant garden venue make for the picturesque summer's eve we're longing for, and the bride's laidback style is as refreshing as the outdoor soirée itself.

From Solie Designs:

"Sarah and Rory are beautiful both inside and out - happy, easy going, and just amazing to be around. Sarah wanted a bohemian, shabby chic sort-of feel, so with the help of her sister, we pulled it all together. When I suggested wooden boxes with flowers for the centerpieces, I assumed we would just go out and buy some, but before I knew it, her dad had whipped up 27 wooden boxes. Not only that, Sarah's dad created 27 custom wood paper towel holders for each table (for the BBQ feast!) and custom "Reserved" signs for the wedding party's tables.  He even made their guest book and card box, making the day all the more special. We hung mini glass jars with flowers and candles for a romantic feel, and set up a cake bar instead of having the traditional cake.

Sarah and Rory's day went off without a hitch (not surprising with this couple's easy-going attitude).  Sarah said one of the most important things for her was to be able to fully appreciate her day. At the end of the day she said everything went off better then she could have ever dreamed."
