Brenda & Craig

July 30, 2011 at The Arctic Club in Seattle

On their first impromptu date at a tapas lounge downtown, travel aficionados Craig Taylor and Brenda Koesterman laughingly joked about jetting off to Spain together (you could say they hit it off). So, when Craig wanted to propose marriage two years later in 2010, it was only fitting to pop the question on a balcony at the Plaza de Espana in Seville on their long-anticipated Spanish getaway. In the midst of planning a move from their hometown of Seattle to England, the busy pair (Brenda is the VP of business development for Lenel in the U.K.) enlisted the help of wedding planner Lisa Chambers to help pull together their supper-club-themed July celebration. After saying “I do” under the dramatic Arctic Club dome, the couple mingled with guests in the lively casino set up in the bar area, while a swing band played jumping jazz tunes. The band slowed things down with Louis Armstrong’s “La Vie en Rose” as the newlyweds took to the floor, surprising guests with a fully choreographed fox trot routine. The Taylors currently make their home in Cambridge, England, where Craig is studying for his master’s degree in business.
