Carly & Jonathan

May 14, 2011 at Willows Lodge in Woodinville

Not even the threat of rain could get this fun-loving West Seattle couple down on their wedding day. (In fact, Jonathan Le was so eager to marry Carly Ericksen, he woke her up at 7 a.m. on February 13, 2010, the day before Valentine’s Day, to propose to his half-awake bride.) The no-fuss Carly enjoyed creating a casual, rustic chic celebration at the woodsy Willows Lodge with DIY décor and a salmon dinner. Prepared with “just in case” rain boots, as well as ceremony, reception and dancing shoes, the bride donned a vintage-looking short dress, with her bridesmaids each in their own dress of choice in the wedding’s peachy corals and taupe colors. The fates shone upon them, as the rain held off for pictures and the ceremony—and then poured the rest of the night, while the newlyweds and their 100 guests danced the night away inside the lodge and savored Top Pot doughnuts for dessert.
