Classic Barn Wedding at Kelley Farm
Continuing on with Real Wedding Wednesday, today we're featuring a classic barn wedding shot by Kate Price Photography at the wonderfully picturesque Kelley Farm. Everything from the attire (those ring bearers!) to the tables and flowers sings rustic elegance. The stylish newly-weds spent countless hours collecting vintage bud vases and hand painting tiny farm animals, adding a special touch to the smallest of details (a couple after my own heart). Let's all take a moment to admire the bride's gorgeous dress and that drool-worthy bouquet...
From Kate Price:
"Greenlake newlyweds, Jeffrey Dull, 24, and Julia Behrends, 25, are both identical twins and work at the same public accounting firm in downtown Seattle. They met freshman year of college at Seattle Pacific University, but it wasn’t until senior year that they started to notice each other. What started as weekly study sessions quickly turned into afternoon runs through Discovery Park and long conversations dreaming up their “summer bucket list” which included hikes in the Cascades, scuba diving for crab, kayaking on the Columbia, and strolls through the Woodland Park Zoo.
Two years later, after fulfilling their list and more, Jeff popped the question on a sailboat in downtown Kirkland where Julia grew up. For the next 11 months, the couple crafted and planned a rustic, romantic wedding located at Kelley Farm in Bonney Lake. They hand painted 200 plastic farm animals, spend hours building marquee letters, and went to every thrift store in the greater Seattle area to collect bud vases. The details of the wedding illustrated the personality of the couple, quirky yet sophisticated. Jeff and Julia celebrated their wedding day with memorable toasts from their “look-a-likes”, pictures in a photo booth with friends and family, topped off with a great dance party."
