A Classic Wedding in the Heart of Tacoma

Robert & Carlie say "I Do" at The Historic 1625 Tacoma Place

Every detail of this wedding is so effortlessly classic, from the bride's timeless gown to the groom's subtle plaid ensemble. History was woven throughout the day, beginning with the bride donning her grandmother's pearls and the groom, his grandfather's watch. The couple spent the afternoon romping around Tacoma with Lionlady Photography seeking out some of the best photo spots in the city, including Stadium High School (originally built to be a fancy French chateau!). They then danced the night away with their 200 guests at what we're certain is a wedding that will stand the test of time.

From Lionlady Photography:

"Carlie and Robert met while attending college in Phoenix, Arizona. They traveled back to the Pacific Northwest, where Carlie was raised, to wed.

Tacoma is often overlooked when it comes to wedding locations. However, we found two incredible spots, one at a high school of all places! Stadium High School was designed to be a French chateau, but those plans didn't come to fruition. After being transitioned into a high school, it was later used as the backdrop for the film "10 Things I Hate About You". We also found WW Seymour Botanical Gardens, a beautiful little park right in the heart of downtown Tacoma."
