Lorraine Cunningham and her husband Evan DeVries met in 2006 while playing pub trivia at the Clever Dunnes, a pub on Capitol Hill. Evan, who works for the Seattle Mariners, and Lorraine, who works in cash management, married last September 2nd in an intimate waterfront ceremony at Luna Park on Alki with 23 of their closest family and friends.

The day went off without a hitch and was relaxed and intimate. “It was a gorgeous fall day and we spent the morning relaxing and getting fitted in our J Crew outfits.” Lorraine says, “Then we headed up to Discovery Park in Magnolia with our photographer, Dana Pleasant –we loved Dana, she is so talented and fun!”

Afterward everyone celebrated in their friends' backyard (Linda's in West Seattle provided the wildflower arrangements) for a relaxed dinner catered by Maggiano's and dancing. While they will put off their honeymoon in California until September, the two aren’t lacking in adventure. The couple, who live in West Seattle, run marathons, brew beer (they brewed up a special matrimony brew for their big day) and love to explore Western Washington. “I still can't get over how very perfect the wedding was for us,” Lorraine says. By the looks of the catalogue-worthy photos, neither will we.
