Giao & Tony

Aug. 27, 2009 at Four Swallows Restaurant

Vintage meets modern in this small, summer wedding set on a pier. Having met at work, Giao and Tony tied the knot after five years of engagement. “We wanted something simple, timeless and full of love,” the bride described. The couple planned the sweet wedding in six weeks, gathering vintage tablecloths and suitcases to add a personal touch to the celebration. With an antique gramophone playing A Kiss to Build a Dream On in the background à la Out of Africa, the lovebirds’ favorite movie, the couple exchanged their vows to a sunset backdrop. “There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.”

Giao carries the refined tastes of her wedding into her food and photography blog, kissmyspatula.com.
