Lush Outdoor Wedding at Willows Lodge

This wedding is the epitome of the best a Seattle summer has to offer. Tons of sunshine, warm golden light and lush greenery come together to make one couple's big day positively perfect. If we're talking perfection, can we take a moment or two to admire the floral designs by Finch and Thistle? Because if I could dream in flowers, I'm pretty sure this is what my dreams would be made of. The rich hues so effortlessly mesh with the stunning gardens at Willows Lodge and the surrounding Northwest scenery. Laurel McConnell captured every sunny detail and we're so glad she did because during those inevitable gloomy days of late fall, you'll find us right here, revisiting this beauty of a bash.

From Laurel McConnell Photography:

"Erin and Tyler are filled with so much laughter and joy; their wedding was destined to be a blast. They absolutely love the outdoors and the woodsy, lush backdrop of Willow’s Lodge in Woodinville, Washington was perfection. The greens, blues, and browns of their venue were set off by the jewel tones featured in their floral arrangements. Her bouquet was made up of purples, magentas, and oranges, while his incredibly creative boutonniere was made of complementary flowers and a fly-fishing lure and hook. The love of fly-fishing carried over to the reception where Erin had painted beautiful lures onto the table setting placards. The centerpieces were a gorgeous combination of colorful floral and more rustic grasses and plants. They even used hops (serious beer-lovers here) to drape their ceremony arch. Lawn games were the highlight of their cocktail hour and a visit to the nearby residential pigs, Borage and Basil, was a delight to the guests. The packed dance floor was an indication the guests were having the time of their lives, when the couple snuck away for a breath-taking portrait under the starry night sky."
