A Rustic, Elegant Farm Wedding

Ashley and Justin say "I do" at Kelley Farm

This particular wedding was featured in the Commitments section of our Fall/Winter 2014 issue, but we just couldn't let this adorable fête slip by without featuring all it's worth. The color palette was kept classic and organic and the misty fog adds an impossibly romantic touch that couldn't have been better if it was planned. While the weather is impressively moody, the excitement of the stylishly clad bride and groom shines through every image snapped by Love Song Photo. We're loving the bride's loosely curled tresses and we may have to argue that we've never seen Hunter Boots worn so well...

From Krista of Love Song Photo:

"If I had to describe this wedding in three words they would be: elegant, exquisite, and romantic. And if I could add a fourth word? I'd go with positively dreamy.

The bride, Ashley, who works as a coordinator at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle, did a wonderful job of pulling together the rustic interior of the barn venue with elegant decor to create an environment for their guests that felt welcoming and cozy, while still looking extremely refined and lovely.

On the day of the wedding, fog set in around the Bonney Lake venue and never lifted, giving the entire wedding day a dreamy feel (Note: the bride nonchalantly said to me before her wedding that she would actually love it if her wedding day ended up being foggy, so she got her wish!)

The couple opted for a clean palette of white flowers and greenery (including delicious-smelling rosemary!) to shine in their table arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres. Tall, glass candle holders in clusters lined the ceremony aisle, and two large floral arrangements accented the ceremony, which took place in front of slightly-parted barn doors, letting natural light backlight the couple as they said their vows. Guests were invited to join the bride in groom in singing a hymn during the ceremony, which was a really special moment and one I'll remember for a long time."
