Vintage Boho Wedding at Laurel Creek Manor

Rachel and Joshua marry on a romantic rainy day in June

These sweethearts' lives first crossed paths in sixth grade. It wasn't until a few years after high school that they officially decided to give-it-a-go, reminding all of us that some things are just meant to be. They married on a rainy day and we don't think we've seen a bride and groom do rain so well. It's obvious that the classically vintage style with a side of bohemian glam fits the personalities of the couple to a tee.

We can't take our eyes off that stunning Sue Wong gown and the way the bride has accessorized it with those perfectly understated vintage-esque pumps, that incredible gold headpiece, and her "something old", an heirloom cameo necklace. Coordinating getting-ready robes for the bridesmaids adds an extra layer of style, and let's not leave out that dapper groom and his men who exude laid-back cool with their tailored vests and rolled shirt cuffs. This wedding is filled to the brim with fashionable inspiration from the beginning of the day to the very last song and it was all captured by Meredith McKee Photography.

From the bride:

"Josh and I met quite a few times before we decided to get to know each other. When I was in 6th grade Josh's mother was my young life leader. Every Thursday night she would have a big group of girls my age over to her house for small group and every week we would all swoon over how handsome her older son was. In high school my mother was a real estate agent and worked closely with Josh's mom, who was a mortgage broker, but it wasn't until a few years after I was out of high school that I officially met Josh. He was three-and-a-half years older, so I figured he wouldn't really notice me, but we started to become close friends. After a while I was fed up with just being friends, so I made the first move, and told Josh how I felt. Now the rest is history.

We were married on June 23rd, 2013 at Laurel Creek Manor. From the moment I stepped foot in the venue I knew it was the one, I have always loved old houses and old things and it was exactly what I had always imagined. Inspired by the gorgeous venue we decided to have a 1920s theme wedding."
