Seattle Bride Fall/Winter 2020

Wedding Date: May 11, 2019

Under three towering arches built by the bride’s stepfather, Lauren Fergusen and Jesse Franklin tied the knot. The bride felt strong and beautiful in her Rime Arodaky “Liam” gown. While shopping at The Dress Theory, Lauren told her maid of honor she wanted a gown that made her feel like she could “lead from the corner office and also frolic in a field.” The sleek lines of her cap-sleeve dress, coupled with a sweet floral peekaboo slit, achieved exactly that. The wedding day was about more than just the bride and groom. “We wanted our union to reflect that we are two people in this world surrounded by strong communities and love—and that our marriage meant we needed them more than ever to keep lifting us up and walking alongside us,” says Lauren. In this spirit and in front of their guests and loved ones, the couple made vows to care not just for one another but also for the world around them.
