While perusing through wedding submissions this month, we flagged an array of fresh, spring-ready “place cards” that direct guests to take a seat with extra flair. From the sweet potted succulents at Kirsten Hauge and Michael Engelbert’s Herban Feast wedding (above) to bright floral fabrics and vintage keys, take a seating cue from these local affairs.

These succulent potted plants not only directed guests arriving at Kirsten and Mike's August 28th SoDo Park reception to their tables, but doubled as a fun take-home favor as well.

Bride Kirstin Haugen created a clever, shabby chic seating chart, inviting guests to find 'the key to their seat' by snagging their own vintage skeleton keys at her September 18th Artic Club nuptials to Shane Cramer.

Super-crafty bride Mimi Jackson handmade fabric and paper table tags for her September 5th wedding to Matt Kim. Bright vintage floral fabric backed each manila card (to give the tags a worn, vintage look, Mimi smudged edges with a sponge dipped in a brown stamp pad), cleverly organized in rows by alphabet letter tags.

Using their shared Irish heritage as a jumping off point, Regina Beaulaurier and Samuel McGinnis used kelly green replica street signs on tables at their October 2nd wedding at Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Course. Place markers were tucked into a gorgeous bronze table tree, directing guests to sit among classic Seattle neighborhoods such as Green Lake and Fremont.
