Circle of love (top left) A cool, square copy block set is designed with modern typography and graphic elements that evoke interlocking wedding rings. Stephanie Clarke, owner of West Seattle's Dahlia Press, uses 100% cotton paper and hand mixes inks for her fresh, elegant letterpress designs. $9 per set for an invitation, response card and matching envelopes.
 
Barn storming beauty (top right) Using offset printing, this oversized, fold-out invitation and matching vellum insert-designed by Sheena Fisher of Blue Fish Designery in Marysville-spotlights the wedding location, the Red Barn in Chehalis. Custom-formulated soy ink matches the envelope and uncoated, opaque paper makes the invitation soft to the touch. $8 per set for an invitation, response card and matching envelopes.
 
Color wheel (bottom left) The vibrant two-color, letterpress invitation features bold typography and a fish theme in honor of bride-and-groom marine biologists. From Fremont-based Real Card Company, the invitation is also ecologically friendly thanks to the use of soy ink and sustainable bamboo papers, layered in sheets of red and cream. Designed by Rachel Brandzel. $20 per set for an invitation with matching envelope and a response postcard.
 
Wanderlust (bottom middle) Located in Kirkland, Jonathan and Whitney Speir, the husband-and-wife design team of Brown Sugar Design, created the travel-themed, single-color letterpress invitation for a globe-trotting couple who hosted a destination wedding in Mexico. Printed on 100% cotton paper specifically formulated for letterpress. $18 per set for an invitation, response card and matching envelopes.
 
Face-to-face (bottom right) Classic silhouettes, created from the bride and groom's likenesses, personalize a textured-paper, double-sided, digitally printed invitation with black-and-white striping on the reverse side. Designed by Alicia Olsen of Paper Delights in Wallingford. About $4.50 per set for an invitation, response card and matching envelopes.
