Food Cart Wedding Catering
Ideas & Inspiration
Creating a hip, casual reception vibe has never been more effortless or delicious. From hot dogs to tacos to sliders, we love the easy-to-grab options Seattle's white-hot food carts are infusing into receptions. Marination Mobile does Korean-Hawaiian sliders, Here and There Grill serves soup and sandwiches and Sweet Treats gives guests desserts. Couples love it: After discovering Ballard-based Dante's Inferno Dogs (above) at a Georgetown Ballroom event (also the Everett couple's wedding locale), Alex and Rebecca Markov wanted to serve made-to-order hot dogs at their cocktail-attire wedding. "We had the entertainment aspect of having them cooked to order!" Rebecca says. West Seattle couple Matt Vaughan, owner of Seattle's Easy Street Records, and his wife, Kisha, rented Lorena's Mobile Kitchen, now at Nine Pound Hammer in Georgetown, for their reception at Global Diving & Salvage. At this West Seattle warehouse, Kisha and Matt offered tamales. "I'm a fan of the late-night-snack option, but with cake as the only after-dinner sustenance, we were worried guests would leave early," Kisha says. They didn't.
