Last summer the Seattle wedding community lost one of its most beloved members, Sean Patrick O’Reilly, a popular celebrant, friend and, in the words of his longtime partner, David Skover, “a beautiful and eloquent voice for love and spirit.” Sean married Katie Knapp and Erik Bjerkman just days before his passing on July 22, 2009. “The first time we met [Sean] we knew he was a special person,” say Katie and Erik. “He made our ceremony unique, memorable and fun…and there are not enough words to describe our admiration for him.” Everyone in the local wedding community would agree that truer words could not be said. Sean’s constant smile, laughter and loving heart will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
