We loved Green Lake bride Lyndsey DeLuca Heinle’s look so much, we got the scoop on what inspired it. “I wanted something freeing and elegant,” says Lyndsey. Her stylist, Elizabeth Harris at Marco Two Union Square, created the soft updo, which took one and a half hours. “I loosely pinned back the curls piece by piece,” Elizabeth, who works both at Marco and on location, says. Makeup artist Shannon Mercil gave Lyndsey a Brigitte Bardot look, with airbrushed foundation, smoky eyes (a few false lashes included) and lighter lips. Words of wisdom from Lyndsey: “Allow the professionals to take your look and enhance the timeless, elegant aspects you already have. Make sure you feel comfortable with it: At the end of the day, you know yourself best.”
