Three Creative Ways To Raise The Bar At Your Reception

Sate those late-night munchies with a ramen buffet featuring perfectly chewy noodles, succulent protein options and a kaleidoscope of colorful veggie add-ins. Tailored to each guest’s taste, every dish of ramen is finished with a serving of savory, slowly simmered broth—slurp it all down before returning to the dance floor.

Catering: Ramen bar components all by Foodz Catering. Crispy noodle bites with sliced, pickled eggs and chile peppers; ramen add-ins including microgreens, sautéed squash, edible flowers, tofu, seaweed and combination black and white sesame seeds; savory vegetarian and pork broth options, plus chile sauce and soy sauce; the finished dish complete with a soft-boiled egg.

Decor and rentals: Freestanding wall, clear glass terrariums and clear acrylic stands all available through The Invisible Hostess. “Ronny” long glass console table and “Marlin” silver and glass bar cart available to rent from Wander Event Rentals. Send guests home with a little ink: Featuring an array of cheeky, custom-made temporary tattoos from North Seattle’s Phenix Paper Co. as well as all the appropriate accoutrements, like H2O and washcloths, this whimsical station is sure to draw a crowd.

Perk up the party with the ultimate combination: beans and booze. Here, freshly brewed, pour-over coffee, available in a variety of roasts, is housed on Convoy Coffee’s cuter-than-cute bicycle cart, while an accompanying table of spirits allows guests to add a splash or dash to their drink.
