Hosted in early September on the cusp of Summer and Fall, Katy and Gio's gorgeous wedding fête at the Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa featured classic, romantic details in hues of soft pinks. Lake Washington set the backdrop for the day, providing sprawling views that made for gorgeous couples portraits and sunset photos. Bride Katy was a true beauty in a Pronovias gown with cowl-necked details and a daring open back, and Gio brought his own personal style to the day, wearing a bluish-grey suit with a white tie and dress shirt. Our couple both evoked wisps of nautical with their fashion choices by keeping the feel airy and fresh, and they kept things classic with sleek shapes and silhouettes. Florals by Joleen Dreyer paired striking greenery with clean roses in hues of ivory, blush and soft coral adding a delightful splash of style into the floral design. Our bride carried a minimalistic bouquet with a few show-stopping blooms, which made for a gorgeous accessory that fit into her fashion choices and personal style; her bridal party mirrored the bouquet style but carried blooms in baby pinks, which was a subtle but cohesive contrast that added a layer to the design. After a heartwarming ceremony overlooking the lake, a reception showcased simple sophistication with a focus on gentle white hues and romantic infusions like floating candles. Favors from Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory were a delight for guests that were curated by our bride and groom. As necessary in a lakeside wedding day, quintessential photos on the dock and aboard a boat allowed Washington's natural beauty to speak for itself and our couple to savor a moment alone as newlyweds.
