Hot Diggity Dog: Late-Night Wedding Snacks

Snack time! Loved ones were treated to two late-night treats at Irene Karapas and Charles White’s wedding reception, held October 29, 2016, at The Foundry as a “hot dog battle” ensued over topping choices created by the Herban Feast catering team. One hot dog option was served Chicago style, topped with the likes of serrano chile, sweet and yellow relish, and celery salt—an homage to the bride’s roots in the Windy City. The other dog was tricked out Seattle style, with cream cheese, sweet onion and brown mustard—a nod to the couple’s new home in the Emerald City. Regardless of their pick, guests dug the dogs: “My mom walked around the dance floor just passing them out,” the bride says. “And I will admit to sneaking into a room with my bridesmaids and crushing quite a few!”
