Allison and Shanahan wed at the Empress Estate in Woodland, which was decorated in lavish jewel-tones and elegant décor. Our bride and groom were glowing in their respective wedding day looks; Allison wore a strapless ballgown paired with a unique textured veil and Shanahan accented a formal black suit with a polka dot bow tie for just a hint of whimsy. Florals throughout the event were extravagantly luscious with touches of bohemian that added a bit of contrast to the day, which was shaped around a color palette of maroon, burnt orange and bold corals. A picturesque forest ceremony saw our newlyweds officially tie the knot, followed by a night of celebration inside the estate's walls. The reception design brought in dark linens which was a moody addition to the Empress Estate's grandiose ambience. Metallic details were also a motif, which featured details like golden wax seals adorning paper goods and golden tableware. The sweetheart table framed our newlyweds in front of the estate's fireplace with a table-for-two that was bursting with florals. A definite highlight was the couple's entrance to the reception, where they emerged on the Empress Estate's second floor overlooking cheering loved ones in a true 'main character' moment.
