Lauren Busto and Brent Kling were married on the forum steps of the Seattle Art Museum in a sophisticated spring wedding, surrounded by loved ones and enveloped in an elegant façade of candlelight and exquisite blooms. A gaggle of flower children (the bride’s and groom’s nieces and nephews) in lace and bow ties playfully punctuated the ceremony, eliciting smiles from guests as they beheld the charming procession before the bride’s walk down the aisle. The couple then exchanged heartfelt vows under the lofty arches of Brotman Forum. Afterward, Lauren and Brent took a turn through some of the museum’s galleries to take in the artworks. For the reception, the forum was transformed into a fairy-tale-like spring garden. Guests dined under boughs festooned with cherry blossoms, which complemented the hanging cedar tree installation above. A soft color palette cast a dreamlike effect as Lauren and Brent danced the night away.
