This gorgeous styled shoot was inspired by an important alliterative trio: femininity, friendship, and family. Highlighting the importance of female friendship, this shoot focused solely on the bridesmaids, the people who become family, and those who share in the significance of the bride’s special day.

Exploring the many nuances of womanhood, the shoot featured pastel hues (baby pinks and soft lilacs) and stunning floral arrangements by White Barn Decor Co. that added their own touch of vibrancy. Effortlessly ethereal, the images capture an intriguing juxtaposition, a middle-ground between gentleness and strength. The color scheme is a celebration of conventional femininity, but the Dawson & Deveraux gowns add their own element of unconventional individuality. The two-toned patterns are not typical of traditional bridesmaid gowns, so this form of experimentation is especially noteworthy.

The shoot is dripping in exquisite detail, even down to the images that showcase the bridesmaids’ necklaces with customized photos. Miniature cakes by Alpenglow Baking Company are consistent with the baby pink color pattern, but they also further enhance these personalized touches — the names of each bridesmaid written in elegant cursive on the top of the cake.

Each shoot tells a story, and this one clearly illustrates the magnetic power of challenging and embracing femininity, celebrating the impact of friendship, and blurring the line between friends and family.
