The dreamy and dramatic bridal train has been a nuptial-day style statement ever since the days of Princess Diana and the 25 feet of shimmering silk that trailed behind her heralded wedding gown. Traditionally attached to veil or gown, the train now has a new medium—the bride’s bouquet. Giving the classic look a modern-day spin, florist Sam Crowley of West Seattle–based Fleurt crafted this 6-foot-long “train bouquet” from locally and sustainably sourced garden and spray roses, dahlias, fragrant pepperberry, clematis vine, Queen Anne’s lace, lepto, and protea of the blushing bride, striking princess and king varieties. Tied with a handmade ribbon, the lush and bountiful creation is sure to turn heads all the way down the aisle. Matthew Christopher silk ball gown from Calla Bridal.
