Wedding Date: August 23, 2019
When searching for the perfect venue to celebrate their nuptials, Kyle McFarlane and Teale Stone didn’t have far to look, opting for the bride’s parents’ home on Bainbridge Island as the perfect Pacific Northwest destination for guests, whether traveling from near or far. With a vibrant color palette of pink, soft blue and true green, inspired by the seasonal greens of the island and the blues of the surrounding sea, the couple and their team set about planning the ultimate celebration with a summer garden party theme in mind. Each of Kyle’s bridesmaids carried a posy containing a single variety of bloom, with each of the varieties integrated into the bride’s own bouquet; and in keeping with the garden theme, the couple was married under a lush floral arch. A bagpiper led the wedding party and guests from the ceremony to the reception tent, which was embellished with floral arrangements draping the tent structure and dining tables. Acrylic signage and accents lent a playful, contemporary feel to the celebration. A champagne bar, wildflower-embellished place cards and a seasonal menu inspired by our region’s bounty made guests feel extra special. A custom escort card installation, for which table numbers doubled as sparklers, ensured that attendees bid adieu to the newlyweds in style at the end of the night.
