In Living Color: This Seattle Bride Gave Her Father The Best Gift Of All On Her Wedding Day
Danielle wanted her father to see her wedding day in full color: the beautiful burgundy and navy color palette, the gorgeous venue, Wine & Roses Country Estate, and the breathtaking barn reception glimmering with pops of gold and natural greenery. Wedding planners Reneille Velez and Karen Seo of Cake & Lace Events were thrilled to hear about Enchroma glasses, assistive lenses that help those who are colorblind to see color with greater clarity. The bride, who had been following Enchroma for years, brought these glasses to the planners' attention to coordinate the surprise for her father. The glasses were shipped in for the big day, and the bride surprised her father on the day of the wedding during an emotional first look between dad and daughter. Captured in a sentimental moment by Steven Zhang Photography, Danielle's father was instantly brought to tears at the sight of his daughter and the stunning wedding as a whole. Added bonus: the glasses also made the perfect Father's Day gift, as the wedding happened to be just the day before!
Danielle and her groom Lenza were wed beneath a gorgeous wooden pergola adorned in beautiful florals from Love Blooms Event Design and flowing white drapery. Guests moved inside to a beautiful barn reception, where bistro lighting, white linens and texturized greenery made for the prettiest setting. Golden hoops dressed in foliage hung from the ceiling just behind the sweetheart table, adding a unique element to the reception design. Guests enjoyed a decadent cake from Missy Bakes and on-site fried doughnuts from Raised Doughnuts to celebrated with Danielle and Lenza.
