A timeless, nature-inspired palette of whites, greens and browns reflected Kristen Curtis and Steve Tomick’s deep love for the outdoors. Every little detail was intentional and planned with love, including the escort cards calligraphed by Kristen, which were placed in holders made of pieces of hemlock wood that Steve had gathered from his family home. Kristen also embellished the invitations with family heirlooms and centennial stamps depicting the couple’s favorite national parks. Kristen’s dramatic, long-sleeved, backless dress awed the crowd as she walked arm in arm down the aisle with the first love of her life, her father, whose reception speech later brought laughter and tears to their family and friends. Kristen and Steve ended their night under an umbrella in the rain—a fitting end to a quintessential Pacific Northwest autumn wedding.
