SAKE IT TO ME Inspired by the Chinese food takeout treat, these vegetable fried rice bowls from Lisa Dupar Catering in Redmond are plated in darling miniature bowls and served with an ice-cold shot of sake. $3.50/fried rice bowl; sake prices vary depending on type.

HOT POTATO As an ode to the classic baked potato, SoDo-based Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes cooked up this bite, composed of a fingerling potato, apple-wood-smoked bacon and chives. It pairs well with another cold weather favorite: a mini Irish coffee. $2.70/slider; $6–$7/Irish coffee, depending on size.

SPICE IT UP For a little south-of-the-border flair, send guests on their way with a spiced prawn and michelada shooter from Twelve Baskets Catering in Kirkland. Garnished with cilantro, lime and a salted rim, this cross between a Mexican beer and a Bloody Mary is sure to perk up their taste buds. $2.50/person.

SANDWICH ORDER Pay homage to a local favorite with a banh mi slider from Capitol Hill–based Ravishing Radish Catering. Guests can choose between a ginger-marinated, grilled tofu or a pork option. Both are topped with pickled vegetables and Sriracha aioli, and then paired with a refreshing cucumber soda from Seattle’s own Dry Soda, based in Pioneer Square. $4/slider; $3/soda.

DOGGONE IT Inspired by a favorite breakfast pairing (pancakes and bacon, of course), this corn dog pop from Lake Union–based Blue Ribbon Catering is crafted from house-made apple chicken sausage dipped in pancake batter, which is then fried and served with a side of blueberry maple glaze. Add a bourbon maple bacon shake and you’ll have one satisfied crowd. $4/corn dog; $5/mini shake.

WANT S’MORE? A sweet take on everyone’s favorite chilly-day drink, South Lake Union–based City Catering Company’s s’mores hot chocolate is a truly decadent treat: hot cocoa served with toasted house-made marshmallows dipped in chocolate ganache and graham cracker crumbs. $3/person.
