All Things Local : The Little London Plane Wedding
Daniel and Aeri's ceremony took place at the Little London Plane, named after the elegant sycamore trees lined along the brick-laden Occidental Avenue in the neighborhood of Pioneer Square. As an homage to the sustainable culture of the city, all the vendors were “locally” sourced. And the dream of exchanging vows at the Little London Plane was fulfilled with the help of the wonderful staff at the London Plane.
Tiarra Sorte went above and beyond and made it especially enjoyable with her sensible amusement and artistic awareness as she captured priceless moments. The couple’s affinity for baroque was expressed with Bach pieces performed by the groom’s sisters during the ceremony, where everyone gathered around to witness the couple exchange the wedding bands that were carefully crafted by the bride.
With the pronouncement of marriage, Joel and John of Bossa 31 brought soothing tunes to guests with a repertoire of Gilberto during the dinner. It was a true destination wedding at home, with guests and family joining from Seattle, California, Michigan, New York, and across the Pacific Ocean, from Korea.
