Madison and Keegan celebrated their nuptials during a romantic elopement in Monroe. The high school sweethearts, who live in Alaska, decided on a Seattle wedding centered around the importance of family. Madison's sisters and six year-old daughter helped her with her hair and makeup prior to the ceremony, and Madison walked down the aisle to an acoustic rendition of "Heaven" by Boyce Avenue. The beautiful reception featured a delicious dinner prepared by the parents of the newlyweds, a gorgeous cake from Sift & Gather, dancing and celebrating with Madison and Keegan.

"When it came time to plan our wedding, we realized quickly that an intimate, family-only event lent itself best to our love story. We wanted to be able to spend quality time celebrating with our closest loved ones that had supported us from day one. Including our daughter throughout the day was paramount, as this would be a day not only we would cherish, but also that she would remember forever. A small destination wedding in the Pacific Northwest was the perfect choice for us. It allowed us to weave together three things we love- fall colors, the woods, and the water. We found a vacation rental home in Monroe situated on a beautiful river with wide open spaces. The local vendors we chose were wonderful to work with and were as excited as were about our unique wedding plans. Our fantastic photographer, who specializes in intimate and elopement style weddings, helped guide us in creating the most meaningful and memorable day possible. A few family members local to Seattle assisted us with the logistics. On a clear, crisp day in November, we met in front of the water to say our vows in the presence of 18 loved ones. We headed off on a fun photoshoot adventure and then proceeded to dance and sing the night away. Our wedding was a blend of traditional elements and relaxed celebrations set within the beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Northwest. It couldn’t have been more 'us.'"
