Seattle Bride's Spring Kickoff Party

Graduate Seattle was in full swing as we kicked off the wedding season in style.
After two years of limiting our interactions the Seattle wedding industry came together to celebrate the newest issue of Seattle Bride and enjoy each others company before what is predicted to be the biggest wedding year on record. The Spring/Summer 2022 issue release party was also an opportunity for our partners to meet our new team and ownership- and to express our gratitude.

We are grateful for all who attended and the opportunity to work with the Seattle wedding community to share their work and the stories of their couples. Check out this full recap of the event from Katrina Allen and Amelia Ann Mundell from Love Blooms Wedding and Event Design. And special thanks for the team of vendors who came together to create this memorable night: British Motor CoachFelix & FingersGourmondoGraduate SeattleIn a FlashLove BloomsSeattle Bride, Sound Originals

The most natural way to plan a party at such a beautiful, eclectic venue was to embrace the history and design that makes it so special. Gabrielle Sweet of Graduate Seattle and Amelia Ann Mundell of Love Blooms Wedding & Event Design immediately focused on the rich, deep color tones and the original 1930s features of the building. Imagining what it would be like to experience the glamour of the vintage affluents who graced Hollywood screens and social columns in the first half of the 20th century filled in the rest.

From purple and gold flowers to abundant vine greenery, crystal votives to velvet furniture, every design detail was thoughtfully chosen to create a cohesive look and maybe even show the industry attendees- all of whom have attended more events than they can count- something they hadn't seen before. Manifesting the design from, we relied upon our fabulous sponsoring vendors. Julie from Pedersen's welcomed us into their studio and provided crucial insight while we designed our table mockups. Kerry from In a Flash taught us all that goes into being a magazine cover model, and Hannah from Urbanista helped us look the part. British Motorcoach's vintage car was the result of one of our very first ideas for the party, and Justin and Evelyn from Felix & Fingers set the tone for a night of connection, and celebration. Gourmondo and Graduate Seattle's bar gave us a taste of decadence, and Dan from Sound Originals showed the event in its very best light. Having the freedom and resources to design florals and decor and curate a top-notch vendor team for this event was an amazing experience and made for an unforgettable evening with the Seattle wedding industry.
