After kicking off their celebration with a rehearsal dinner at Canlis and a welcome cocktail reception at the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum, Tate Haukos and Taylor Gorter wed on a sunny fall day. Their ceremony and reception were created as an ode to Seattle—which explains why the couple opted for a venue with a water view. Blue and autumnal hued accents hinted at classic simplicity throughout the day. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails on the venue’s lawn, overlooking Lake Washington and with a view of the sunset to the west, fueled the festivities, and late-night snacks—served by Ezell’s Famous Chicken—ensured that the celebration continued late into the evening.
