Beth and Matt's beautiful Seattle wedding day was undeniably stunning. The two tied the knot during a lovely ceremony at Volunteer Park before inviting guests to celebrate with them at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion, and the couple opted for a soft palette of neutrals paired with florals by Blend Designs Co. to highlight the natural beauty of both sites. Keep reading for the bride's take on the incredible day!

From the bride:

"Matt and I met when we were sophomores at Brown. We're both born and raised east coasters so when Matt got a job offer in Seattle after college, it was an unexpected adventure. When he moved across the country, we both completely fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and the more laid-back Seattle lifestyle. Over the next few years, we did long distance on and off, working together to have me relocate to Seattle where we saw us building our future together. I moved in 2016 and we bought our first house together.

When we thought about what we wanted for our wedding, it was important to us to share the life we had built here with our family and friends from across the country and to highlight everything that we loved about the Pacific Northwest. We had a lot of guests coming in from far away so we wanted to keep the location convenient - preferably inside the city - but still capture that lush, outdoorsy vibe that epitomizes the northwest. We chose to have our ceremony outdoors at Volunteer Park and had our reception at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion where our guests could enjoy the outdoor patio and view of the mountains. Our rehearsal dinner was held at Golden Gardens where we had a crab boil overlooking the Puget Sound.

I wanted to create an elegant and inviting atmosphere filled with personal, handmade details. The rooftop was a great neutral palette with its beautiful natural wood ceiling, chandelier and skylight. I kept the decoration minimal overall and our florist created beautiful bouquets to sprinkle throughout. We had a photo booth where I handmade each of the props and banners and I created wreathes of felt flowers inspired by our Rifle Paper stationary to decorate the entryway and our chairs, weaving in some lace that was Matt's family heirloom.

Jewelry making is a hobby of mine so it was important that our wedding rings also have that same handmade significance. I designed and carved our wedding rings, working with a local caster to get them made in platinum. I designed my ring to nestle with the beautiful antique engagement ring that Matt selected for me and for Matt's ring I created a pattern that was inspired by fish scales and pine cones."
